UPDATE: This hike has been postponed from 20th / 21st Aug until 17th / 18th Sept This is a great hike for both Scouts who have never done an overnight hike into a remote area before and also for those who might already have. It's a fairly easy route to walk, with only a few steep sections. At the end of the first day's walk, we camp by a lagoon near a disused orange orchard, if the season is right there'll be fresh orange juice for breakfast!!
While there is a pit toilet and running water available, there are no shops or ice cream vans, so you'll have to be prepared to bring your own supplies, including:
