The Oaks Fire Trail is a 28km trail popular with mountain bikers in the Blue Mountains National Park. It is rated Medium to Hard with some long climbs and even longer descents. Participants will need to have confidence in off road riding as the track can be rough and steep. Getting there and back: We will be meeting at the Essex St Hall and loading bikes into trailers and scouts into cars. We need to catch the 9:23 train from Glenbrook, the trains run only once an hour so we will need to leave the hall on time. You will need to bring $2.30 for your train ticket. We plan to return to the Essex St Hall by 5pm More information can be found on the attached A1 Form which needs to be returned by Wed 27 July. |
