What is it?
A fun day out with Dad (Mums and siblings can come too...) exploring the wonderful world of flight at the Scout Air Activities Center. The day includes participation in an Air Activities Badge Course appropriate for Joeys, Cubs and Scouts. All participants - parents and siblings included - also have the opportunity to go on a 25 minute joy flight in a light plane.
  • The Air Activities Badge Courses are a full day activity which commences at 8:30am and depending on the number of visitors on the day will finish at around 3:30pm.
  • The Badge Courses are tailored for the different scouting sections. During the day, the participants will take part in activities related to aviation with an emphasis on safety.
  • The program includes a flight in one of the Scouts own Cessna 172 aircraft usually to Warragamba Dam and return, a trip that takes approximately 25 minutes.
How much is it?
$70 per person - includes participation in the badge course (for youth members), a 25 minute joy flight (for everyone) and a sausage sizzle (for lunch)
What should I wear?
For youth members - Full Scout Uniform please
For others - casual wear

What do I need to bring?
