What is it? District camp is an annual event run by out loacl Scout District - Yanagin. It is a "Competitive Camp", meaning you will be judged on the quality of your camping skills
When is it? Queens Birthday long weekend (5:00pm Friday 7th June to 2:00pm Monday 10th June)
Where is it? Cataract Scout Park (see attached map)
Who should go? All Scouts are encouraged to go. Parent helpers are also needed (parent helpers and leaders attend free)
Why should I go? Because we need to defend the Gilwell Shield" that Epping won at last year's District Camp
How much does it cost? $70 will cover your caming fee, food and one activity (either archery or high ropes)
Where can I get more information? See the attached A1 form or talk to a Leader if you are unsure about what it is, what to take, etc.
